The Do Good Mixer group is one of the volunteer opportunties provided by the Volunteer Center of Story County. The ideas was that of a summer intern who wanted to have a place for adults to volunteer since there were so many youth and young adult groups in the community.
The Volunteer Center of Story County believes that the connectedness among the people and organizations of Story County is key to releasing and energizing the compassion and talent necessary to solve problems, respond to emergencies, and build quality of life in which every citizen thrives.
