Tentetive Schedule
January 18, 2010- Do Good Mixers will be joining AmeZone in celebration of MLK Day. AmeZone, a youth service learning group in Ames, will host service projects and present to the public their spring/summer service learning project of a homeless community garden.
Service projects include assembling care packages for clients of ACCESS and Emergency Residency Project, two shelters in Ames; creating holiday greeting cards; planting flower seeds to be transplanted into the garden in the spring; and working on art projects that will benefit the garden.
Lunch will be provided.
February- The Do Good Mixer Group will be going to the Harmony Clothing Closet in Neveda, followed by lunch at Minskey's.
